NSU leaders continue hunger strike


Kathmandu, Aug 7: Leaders of Nepal Students Union (NSU) affiliated to the Nepali Congress have continued their hunger strike for the ninth consecutive day, today.
NSU former central member Ganesh Sapkota and former vice president for Ramechhap district Ratnahari Dhungel have been on a fast-onto-death at the NC party office Sanepa, since July 30, demanding that NSU general convention be held as per the due process.
Likewise, another leader Bholanath Sharma joined the two on August 4.
It may be noted that NSU 11th General Convention kicked off in the capital from today. RSS
