On the occasion, PM Oli stressed on need for preserving the cultural diversity based on social development created by our ancestors and also enlisting various castes and languages of the country.
We have achieved political rights along with the promulgation of the new constitution, the PM said while alleging an ‘attempt’ to push Nepal towards failure. He added that in a country with multi-languages and multi-castes, only the rights of a single caste cannot be protected.
It is unacceptable for a civilized society that strikes and struggles continue without any reason and even after rights are achieved, the PM said noting that a special programme was underway for development of Tarai. The PM was worried that the ‘stealthy political developments’ in Tarai would entangle the development programmes.
