Fresh aftershock rocks capital


Kathmandu, July 22: A 3.7 Richter scale aftershock of the Gorkha Earthquake rocked the capital city today.
The aftershock with epicentre around Kirtipur was recorded at 2: 40 pm, said National Seismological Centre of the Department of Mines and Geology.
Centre’s Chief, Lok Bijaya Adhikari, confirmed the quake as an aftershock of the massive earthquake which struck on April 25, 2015.
As many as 465 aftershocks with measurement in Richter scale ticking 4 or above have been recorded so far. RSS
