Flights halted at Jufal Airport


Dolpa, July 7: Flights from and to Jufal Airport in the district have halted since last Monday.
The air service is the only means of transport to the district from other parts of the country. Civil Aviation Authority of Nepal officials at the Airport shared that the services were halted due to poor visibility caused by rain and fog along the Nepalgunj- Dolpa air route.
It is learnt that the airport was covered with fog.
With the disruption of the air services, locals, tourists and basically patients were facing difficulties. Meanwhile, with the halt in air service, locals are compelled to walk from here to different destinations. RSS
