Decree removing difficulties endorsed with majority


Kathmandu, July 26: The decree removing obstacles issued by President Bidya Devi Bhandari has been endorsed by a majority of the parliament after discussions on it today.
The order was issued by the President as per the recommendation of the meeting of the Council of Ministers on Sunday as per the provision of the Article 305 of the Constitution of Nepal.
The decree was presented in the Parliament by the Minister for Law and Parliamentary Affairs Agni Kharel on the behalf of Prime Minister KP Sharma Oli.
Minister Kharel had responded the quarries raised by the lawmakers regarding the decree.
Minister Kharel clarified that the decree was recommended by the Council of Ministers to the President to remove the ambiguity regarding the formation of the new government after PM Oli resigned on Sunday.
The next meeting of the House is scheduled at 3:00 pm on August 1. RSS
