Over 200 houses inundated in Morang


Urlabari (Morang), June 21: Over 200 houses were flooded in Madhumalla of Morang after the local Nunsari Bakaraha river dam burst this morning. Over 200 houses of five wards have been inundated.
The continuous downpour since last night caused the river dam burst. The swollen river flowed into the village from three locations, according to a local Santosh Gautam.
Police rescued Bhumika Karki, Shree Bahadur Karki and Muna Khadka of Madhumalla-5 got trapped by the flood.
It may be noted four-year-old Sishir Thapa of the same village had lost his life last year after the river broke its dam and entered the village during monsoon. RSS
