10 million rupees donated to Dharahara reconstruction trust


Kathmandu, July 12: Nepal Reinsurance Company Ltd today donated Rs 10 million for the ‘I will build my Dharahara Trust’.

The Company Chairman Mahesh Kumar Guragain handed over the money to Prime Minister KP Sharma Oli at his official residence in Baluwatar.

PM Oli expressed joy at the people’s increasing participation in reconstructing the Dharahara landmark.

He said that the reconstruction would cost around Rs 3 billion and stressed on need for support from any individual or company. The Trust was launched after the PM and ministers donated a month’s worth of salary. RSS
