Kathmandu, June 10: A youth conference is to be organised in the capital from October 1 to 3 this year.
The National Youth Council and Non-Resident Nepalis Association (NRNA) are jointly organizing the conference aimed at preparing short-term and long-term strategic plans for the overall skill development of the youth.
In a press conference here today, the Council vice-chair Madhav Dhungel informed that the conference will help to create environment for the technical and economic support for the entrepreneurship of the youth.
He said the main objectives of the conference will be to create opportunity for the employment and skill development of the youths.
Dhungel assured that the conference would be a milestone for mobilizing the youths for the construction of the post-quake projects as well. Experts are invited to present working and concept papers during the conference.
On the occasion, different stalls will be kept displaying the famous domestic products and inventions as well. About 500 delegates from within and outside the country will attend the conference. RSS
