Pokhara, Aug 22: The one month training for the fifth edition of Miss Tamusyo Nepal has kicked off in Pokhara.
A total of 20 contestants from Kaski, Syangja, Lamjung, Parbat, Gorkha, Chitwan and Jhapa are taking part in the beauty pageant being organized by the Council House of Tamu (Gurung) Students – Kaski with the slogan ‘Miss Tamusyo’s Esteem, Traditional Culture’s Identity’.
During the training experts will hone the skills of the contestants in developing their individuality, language and cultural manners, Council’s Kaski Chairman and Miss Tamusyo Nepal’s Main Organizing Committee Coordinator, Dhanu Tamu said.
The final will take place on September 24 with the winner taking home Rs 50,000 in cash prize and a week’s trip to Hong Kong. The first runner-up will be awarded Rs 30,000 and second runner-up Rs 20,0000 along with various prizes, according to the Organizing Committee. RSS
