PM condemns Kabul suicide attack on Nepalis


Kathmandu, June 20: Prime Minister KP Sharma Oli has extended deepest sorrow on the tragic demise of 14 Nepalis in a suicide bomb attack targeting a minibus they were aboard in Kabul of Afghanistan on Monday morning.
In a condolence message today, the Prime Minister said he was devastated with the news that 14 innocent Nepalis were killed and seven others injured in the explosion. Extending heartfelt condolences to the bereaved families, he wished for the speedy recovery of the wounded. The terrorist attack on innocent Nepali reached there in course of employment was condemnable, he said, terming the incident a heinous crime.
He reiterated Nepal’s strong commitments to international efforts aiming to fight against all forms of terrorism and bring criminal force(s) behind such inhumane act to the book.
Works are in progress through the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and respective embassy to take complete details of the victims, get their mortal remains back to home and ensure medical treatment to the injured, the PM shared.
He also expected international support towards that end. RSS
