‘Mushroom’ restaurant in Kakadvitta


Kakadvitta (Jhapa), Aug 22: A ‘Mushroom’ restaurant is turning out to be very popular in Kakadvitta in Jhapa district.
Shyam Raj Bhattarai, 35, of Bahundangi-7 is running the restaurant with an investment of Rs 2.2 million. He also run a mushroom farm, providing employment to eight youths.
People are thronging to this unique restaurant to savour different dishes made from mushroom including momo, soup, fried, lollypop among others.
Bhattarai has also been running a mushroom lab to produce mushroom at Bahundangi-6 at a cost of Rs 1.1 million where 11 people have been directly employed.
Bhattarai said that one can make good income from mushroom farming and that there was no need to go for overseas employment. RSS
