Girl swept away by Mahakali River


Bhimdattanagar (Kanchanpur), Aug 26: The whereabouts of a girl who was swept away by the Mahakali River today morning is yet to be found.
Local resident Sabina Rana, 10, daughter of Khimlal, alongside another local resident Sita Thapa Magar, was washed away by the river while they had gone there to immerse the prasad (auspicious items) offered to celebrate Shree Krishna Janmashtami, local people said.
However, local people rescued Thapa Magar later, who is receiving treatment at a local health institution, police said, adding that the search was underway to find the missing Sabina. RSS
